
Went for a walk up Burrington Combe the other day, nice blue skies and a slight breeze, perfect to take the dog along as well. There were a few whisps of cloud gently drifting over the summit of the hill I’d been walking up which lent themselves wonderfully to add to the black and white conversion I had in mind before I took the shot, it certainly made processing easier; ignoring the colours and instead working on tone.

Just as sun was setting I managed to capture this, a huge bank of cloud sweeping it’s way in-land from the Bristol channel. We got storms later that night…
