But in a good way. I’ve completed a project on a subject not far from where I live and I’m trying to finish off two papers, a presentation and various other things, all whilst training to race over the summer. But its been good, just neglected the postings here annoyingly. So, without further ado I have a shot I took almost 2 years ago but its one of my favourites from an evening fishing with my dad…good times.

My photographic project consisted of capturing dozens of different views of a subject I’ve seen and shot many times before but this time I really looked closely at its different forms and shapes as it sits there marking the land. Used every day by hundreds, thousands maybe?, and yet hardly a thought into its monumental importance, despite the fact its originator never saw the finished article… unfortunately these pages could hardly pay tribute to the size of
my finished article, the final image was more than 100 megapixels in dimension (+100,000 pixels per edge – its a square image) and when framed will fill a rather large chunk of wall space I believe! I’ll try and find a way of presenting it here so you know what I mean
Further good news; I learned recently an image of mine will be used in the foyer of the Hotel du Vin in Bristol. All 4 foot square of it. woohoo!
