Finally a picture, I hear you cry…! Hammersmith Bridge in London when I was up there for a race the other week…at some horrendous hour. You can tell because the water is only ever flat at 6am-7am, and subsequently choppy as ever [as other rowers on this stretch of river know this only too well]. Thankfully the weather held out for a glorious day. The one time its sunny and I’m out racing…sod’s law but there you go…I got at least one half decent shot out of the weekend.

The annual Women’s Head of the River Race (or WHORR) falls on the 17th March this year, starting at 2.30pm.
The Head of the River Race (Men’s head) takes place at 3.45pm on the 31st March following the exact same course. (more…)
