Well not for the first time did I find myself working up a sweat before 6am. I was off to Tim and Joy’s wedding in Switzerland (I’m there now actually, apologies for pants photo…bit of ‘phone-tography for ya)… (more…)

…it’s Star Wars day!
and on an entirely different note, I was out hunting bluebells again, which still have yet to complete their bloomage. Taking their time, see!

Actually they seem to be coming out a bit late this year compared to the last couple of years, maybe that’s to do with being in a different location? Either way here’s a small selection, there will no doubt be more to come soon as they really take off, these are only partially flowered crops…

I admire anyone who pays attention to detail in their work, be it a scientist, artist or a farmer. Although one might argue it’s a simple act of driving from one side of a field to the next there is clearly more to it than such a thoughtless act as that…in much the same way a photographer plans and composes his shot, the worker of the land executes his plan with care. His livelihood depends on it.
Although this site has worked absolutely fine in the past for Firefox browser users I believe I’ve managed to fix it for Internet Explorer users now – at last!!! …although not having a Mac (yet) I can’t test it out in Safari so please let me know how it is, hopefully any glitches aren’t too major (beyond my limited web-bashing skills that is!).
I’m currently shuffling the gallery section about a bit, image names and sections might go a bit funny but it should all be good in no time, check back later and with luck it’ll be all good again…(he says!)

Just a quick drop in to say I’m still alive. Returned from a great wedding in France today and we’re off again for two weeks tomorrow so may not be able to post until I’m back…if I’m not back after three weeks send out the mountain rescue to search Snowdonia please!
p.s. those waiting for the wedding photos; there’s a fair few to go through. Be patient
