Today’s entry shows there is still some colour in my world!
Snowdon’s peak looms high into the clouds, exposed when cloud cover briefly parted and quite fortuitously at the same time as a streak of sunlight bathing a meadow on the foothills below. Getting a shot like this is partly lucky and mostly patience. Rains pounded us as we waited for a moment of clear skies to see ‘the top of Wales’ which was, after several days in the area, starting to become somewhat of a myth. I proudly present it as proof it does exist despite the fact the prevailing weather may cast doubt on this. I am ever thankful for the weather seals on the camera as they were certainly put to the test that day, more than any other time in all its travels up mountains in the Alps and the biting -20C in Russia…just one wet day in Wales, a miracle it wasn’t completely water logged.
