The end of a hard day on the water and the clouds rolled in to close the day…
the reflected rays lit soft tracks of pink and red as the sun fell beyond the mountains to the west of the lake, the launches tied up gently swaying in the breeze. I almost missed this shot as the light only lasted a few short minutes, I had only just got off the water myself and rushed to grab the camera and set up on a stable platform. Saddly the relentless passing of time caused me to miss the vivid reds and golds from the sunset but next time I’ll know to be ready for it!
