Since my main computer was down I got to clearing this place up a little in the last few days, I have updated the photo gallery section a bit [general spring cleaning], as well as adding links to photos for sale available through the gallery I am represented by; Gallery2C, click here to go there. My portfolio there appears to be growing healthily – recent additions are the floral images and a few shots of the suspension bridge, the latter apparently being very popular, would be I guess given the location of the gallery…famous local landmark etc.
I plan on making regular submissions to keep things fresh and – for want of a better expression – really get my ‘stuff’ out there. Feedback so far has all been positive and some good interest being generated…so I can take the photos, its just getting the marketing bit nailed that counts. I believe there’s some saying out there about professional photography being 95% marketing and 5% actual photographic ability…I guess ‘they’ must be right because – and all due respect – there’s a great deal of ‘less than great’ shots out in the world today that people are willing to pay for! In fact I’m constantly reminded by friends and family that the images I produce could, and should, be out there making money…point taken and I do feel that I’m headed that way. So, watch this space!
