
A typical English bank holiday weekend; a bit of sunshine, mostly gloomy and perhaps a touch of rain…at least the date is still open for the well used pun.
Thankfully in the woods there’s now sufficient growth to mean you can safely set up and not worry about potential trickle of rain, even the lack of sunlight is not too bad in fact. With an overall diffused light, plants are more evenly lit, ok it may be slightly darker but that just means an extra stop or two of shutter speed to account for that, the results have been pretty good in fact. This time I broke from the norm of colourful bluebells surrounded by green and went for a fairly strong desaturated look…
