Not your average household ornament but in the home I was covering a party at last week there were several suits of armour in the corridors and beside doorways, their occupants long gone…the house dates back to Tudor times and has been added to over the centuries yet retains virtually all the original features including ornaments and ghosts (I’ve been told)…at least you’d be able to fend off unwelcome visitors! I don’t think I can ever remember being in such a fantastic building.
