With lots to go through still from the other weekend’s festivities here’s a nice shot I didn’t put up in the last batch of bluebell shots (you’ll be sick of them soon I swear!).

Found an absolute gem the other week, Hooke Park in Dorset. Simply incredible. Bluebells as far as the trees allow your to see over slowly rolling hillocks and twists and turns. Ended up spending hours wandering around trying to find some good vantage points for some shots, which despite what you may think was not as easy as all that. Trying to find a decent spot that has some visual appeal rather than just a blanket of bluebells within the trees is a challenge but as the sun dipped and the light became slightly softer I managed to find some compositions that worked, as well as the odd experimental shot too.

and on an entirely different note, I was out hunting bluebells again, which still have yet to complete their bloomage. Taking their time, see!

Actually they seem to be coming out a bit late this year compared to the last couple of years, maybe that’s to do with being in a different location? Either way here’s a small selection, there will no doubt be more to come soon as they really take off, these are only partially flowered crops…
