Another fantastic wedding to be part of, this time the proceedings involved an old London bus and a trip up the Thames after the service to reach Hampton Court Palace for the rest of the day’s entertainment. As an added bonus we even got lucky and passed a regatta on the way! The full set of images from the day may be found here.

In just a few days time this small pocket of London will be swarming with rowers, each battling it out for the title of Head of the River 2010. Good luck to all, especially the ones I want to do well!

Home for many…and having lived and been to and fro over my 28 or so years I’ve never even taken a picture of the more memorable landmarks, so here’s one to kick things off.

Finally a picture, I hear you cry…! Hammersmith Bridge in London when I was up there for a race the other week…at some horrendous hour. You can tell because the water is only ever flat at 6am-7am, and subsequently choppy as ever [as other rowers on this stretch of river know this only too well]. Thankfully the weather held out for a glorious day. The one time its sunny and I’m out racing…sod’s law but there you go…I got at least one half decent shot out of the weekend.
