This shot was taken down near Weston-super-Mare (or Weston-on-mud!) near a dilapidated looking pier which I’ll have to return to and explore a little more. Unfortunately the pier itself is closed off but the potential for interesting shots when the tide goes out seems pretty good…I’ll have to return. Also I’ve received a new toy, a 10 stop Neutral Density filter…which means long long exposures even during day light. Standby for more!

Just another from the beach, although the bigger picture can always be nice there are often interesting patterns to be found when you take a closer look at your surroundings…

As light fell on the beach last night I managed to catch this little arrangement just above the sand line where the pebbles are all washed up…
