All is still and calm before the pounding rhythm echoes across the waters in the dim light, last chance to take tops off and grab a swig of your energy drink, hastily mixed in that familiar time of day time rarely seen by most people before even a hint of daylight has begun to sweep away the stars…

High up on the rigging of a tall ship moored along the harbour side this colourful display flapped steadily in the warm breeze. Nothing quite like wandering around in plus 20C in early January…!
